The Twelve Days of Yooper Christmas Children’s Book
My first illustrated book is a twist on the classic twelve days of Christmas, instead featuring iconic imagery to Yoopers (people from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) to share the regional traditions and culture. Each page utilizes mixed media layers of gouache, watercolor, acrylic inks, alcohol markers, and colored pencil to create realism and depth.
